I am a licensed, master's degree-level clinician providing individual and group counseling services for individuals with substance use and gambling disorders. Over the last 15 years, I have enjoyed working with individuals from a range of cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds in both community and residential settings. My Goal is to help others enhance their quality of life and reunite families impacted by these diseases. I work from a person-centered, solution focused perspective and incorporate trauma informed practices. I have a collaborative approach with the individuals I work with and understand that they are the experts in their own life experiences. I utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment methods including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing/enhancement, and relapse prevention. My experience is just not academic but also life experience. My goal with every client is to share in their journey, to enhance their quality of life and support them in developing a life free of the burdens of gambling and substance use disorders.
