Therapists » Marriage & Family Therapist Associate
Often, the clients that find their way to me are Black, Indigenous, and other men of color looking to process and work through anxiety or depression, questions of sexuality and gender, burnout and stress, and concerns related to how they show up in the world as men. In my practice, I support teens and adults in unpacking, making sense of, and growing from their past and present life challenges. We work together to re-author limiting narratives, uncover hidden strengths, and build resilience. I also work with couples and others in relationships seeking to disrupt dysfunctional patterns, improve communication, and enhance connection. My clients know themselves best. As they speak, I listen, reflect back and join them in exploring their thoughts, feelings and experiences more deeply. My approach is psychodynamic and highly relational, blending humor, warmth and directness. I focus on empowering people through collaborative, culturally-sensitive therapy to foster self-awareness and growth.
