Mike likes to work with people who are ready to make changes in their life. They do not need to know exactly what that looks like or means yet, they just need to be sick and tired of feeling sick and tired. Mike enjoys working with people who have depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, bipolar, and addiction issues. He also practices couple therapy and likes to offer premarital counseling, empowerment couple's counseling, and helping the healing process post infidelity or other ruptures in the relationship. Mike spent 4 years working with people in an international setting in Tokyo and enjoys providing therapy in a multicultural space. Mike specializes in individual, couples, family, and group therapy for teenagers and adults dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, adaptation struggles, grief & loss, and relationship issues. Mike brings a multicultural worldview to all the services he provides. Mike has received training and is experienced in CBT, ACT, and Imago couple's therapy. As someone who has lived a bit of a life, I understand how hard and dark things can get. I also know how feeling all alone in that darkness makes it so much worse. When you take the courageous step of asking for help, I see it as an honor and privilege to be there with you. We may not know what the path will hold - we do know you will not have to walk alone.
