I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in NY with over a decade of experience providing therapy to adults. I have worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, boundary-setting, relationship issues, people-pleasing behaviors, low self-worth, sexual addictions, and emotional regulation. My clients explore techniques (during the session/homework assignments) for managing difficult emotions, which then helps them to communicate more effectively and enhance their relationships. I have also provided treatment to individuals focusing on increasing awareness and working through sexually inappropriate behaviors. I work to create a non-judgmental and open environment for my client by asking open-ended questions and getting to know him or her on a personal level. This occurs at a pace the client is comfortable with. I provide resources and encouragement, and it is up to the client to engage in trial and error in order to see what works best for them. I believe in treating everyone with respect and compassion with the mindset that each individual is unique in their needs and goals. I am here to support and motivate you when you are ready to take that step. Together we can work through your personal challenges while moving toward a balanced life where you can make changes and work on your personal goals.
