About

My primary aim as a Clinical Psychologist is to help clients build fulfilling and meaningful lives. I am dedicated to creating warm, genuine, collaborative, and non-judgmental therapeutic relationships. I am intensively trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), gold-standard treatments that work and are backed by research. I specialize in treating adults and teens with mood and anxiety disorders. I have additional expertise in treating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, emotion regulation difficulties, and trauma.

My approach to treatment is present-focused and goal-oriented. The therapeutic strategies that I utilize help with tolerating and accepting difficult emotions, changing unhelpful thinking and behaviors, and increasing the ability to live mindfully in the present moment.

I received my Ph.D. from the University of Rochester and B.S. from Duke University. I completed my internship at NYU/Bellevue and fellowship at CBT/DBT Associates. I am a Clinical Assistant Professor at Albert Einstein College of Medicine where I supervise psychiatry trainees. I am licensed in both NY and NJ. Please contact me if you have any questions!
