I am Melissa Chase, and I am here to help. I am the mother of four exceptional children and the grandmother of five more amazing grandchildren. I am a Sam Houston State University graduate, where I completed my undergraduate degree in education. I taught high school for sixteen years and, during that time, completed my Master's Degree in Professional Counseling at Houston Baptist University. My passion is supporting people through stressful situations and tragedy. View 3 Photos I am EMDR trained and Trauma certified professional. I believe that trauma affects how we make decisions and react to those around us; through using EMDR, a person can process their traumatic experiences and make the necessary changes to live their best life. I can also provide Biblical and spiritual counseling upon request. I am self-pay and will be approved for insurance very soon. I believe walking with people through difficult times is a privilege and honor. I have the utmost respect for all individuals as they navigate through trauma and significant life events.
