About

Everyone needs support. Helping people work through the challenges that life holds is the deepest privilege. I believe in support, non-judgment, and providing space for people to make desired changes in their lives. Therapy can be hard work! Shorter term and focused on your goals tends to be the most beneficial for most people. How we understand ourselves and our place in the world is worth exploring. It’s super courageous to reach out and I respond to all emails or calls. Please know email responses sometimes go to the spam folder.

Using unconditional, positive regard, support and strategies , the effect of anxiety, depression and trauma can lessen significantly. Humor, straightforwardness, empathy and down to earth communication is what a person can expect when coming to my office.

A mentor once told me that choosing a therapist is like finding the right shoes - it has to fit and not give you blisters. Feel free to give me a call and ask questions! If I'm not the right 'fit', I will make every effort to point you to someone who may be.
