Whether I am working as a psychodynamic psychotherapist or specifically as a Jungian Analyst I am always mindful of the power of the unconscious. It will exercise its might whether invited or not. I am best suited to treating clients who wish to or are compelled to journey into the dark to find meaning in their lives. I have found this process to be a combination of bringing unconscious material to the surface light in order to understand and make meaning of it, and tolerating and trusting some of what one cannot understand. As a Jungian Analyst I look at material through a symbolic lens. Such a perspective allows me and the client to see the larger humanity in the specific issue. I worked for a number of years at a Cult Hotline and Clinic, with families and former cult members. I am a musician as well as a therapist/analyst. I write about the relationship between music and psyche. I am always interested in clients who are themselves intimately involved in a creative process. Artists of all kinds are welcome.
