Hello world! I am Melinda Green, MA, LPC-A, LCDC. I am a licensed professional counselor associate, under the supervision of Josh Taube, LPC-S, specializing in working with children and families. With a background in education as a behavior teacher and ARD facilitator, I bring a unique perspective to my practice. I am passionate about helping individuals develop healthy coping mechanisms and navigate challenges related to at-risk behaviors. I offer a compassionate and supportive therapeutic environment, tailored to meet the specific needs of each client. Before becoming a counselor, I worked as a behavior teacher, lead teacher, and ARD facilitator. I love helping children and families navigate at-risk behaviors, and I specialize in working with kids ages 5 to 17. I have a deep understanding of the 504/ARD process, and the challenges families face within the education system. While most of my experience is with children, I have also worked with adults through addiction counseling. Whether working with children, adolescents, or adults, I use evidence-based therapeutic approaches to address a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. I offer tele-health for those looking for accessible care.
