About

Melinda Fay is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a specialization in Art Therapy. I received my MA in Psychology from Phillips Graduate Institute in 2002. A lifelong love of art, nature, and travel imbue my practice. I enjoy working with individuals, teens willing to be in therapy, and couples who are both motivated for treatment. My focus is on issues related to identity, changing roles, and life transition. I address the thinking and behavior patterns that are out of sync with the client's identified core values and together we aim to transform them.

I enjoy working with older teens (who choose to be in treatment), and younger and older adults grappling with life transition and their changing roles across the lifespan. I feel like I have been most useful to clients who are open-minded and want a directive approach to therapy.

I have experience helping people navigate chronic pain conditions like migraine, back pain, IBS, and the mental health aspects that often accompany them. I enjoy working with women/men in midlife and those juggling multiple caretaking roles. I love working with aspiring creatives and entrepreneurs.
