Life challenges can feel overwhelming, especially when it feels like our world has been turned upside down. Sometimes, a sudden event occurs-such as a new medical diagnosis or relationship loss-which disrupts our life and creates uncertainty. Even expected transitions can bring unexpected reactions. For example, a new baby, job, or move to a new city can bring excitement yet leave us feeling out of sorts. Ongoing concerns can also feel unsettling. Struggling with chronic health difficulties, depression, anxiety, ADHD, or feeling like we are not where we want to be can significantly impact our quality of life. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) provides powerful, empowering, evidence-based, interventions for navigating life challenges. My practice focuses on providing CBT for adults struggling with medical conditions, depression, and anxiety. I integrate Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) principles to help people create a meaningful life inspired by their core values. I consider it an honor and privilege to provide psychological care. I collaborate with my patients to set personalized goals and identify effective, practical, strategies they can use to cope with current difficulties. I strive to leverage each person's unique strengths and foster hope with warmth, support, respect, and encouragement.
