Counseling requires a relationship based on trust and mutual respect. My goal for counseling is that you and I will understand and trust one another, identifying your goals and working to overcome whatever obstacles are in your way. I believe that anyone who seeks counseling does so because of a desire to live your best life, and my desire is to help you do just that. With over 20 years of experience as a licensed counselor, I will help you to move toward solutions that will bring about positive change. While my clinical training and biblical worldview inform my approach, your goals and needs are the priority of each session. While I maintain a general practice, I focus on relational and diagnostic issues that are impacting you and/or your family system. I work with children, adolescents, and adults and provide individual, couple, family and group counseling. Marital issues, grief, trauma, childhood issues, abuse, depression and anxiety are a few of the concerns I will treat. One of the primary benefits of being your counselor is the opportunity I have to offer you hope. As you consider reaching out for your first appointment, I applaud your courage. Whether counseling will involve you and/or other family members, you are on the path to healing and better days ahead. Your story matters, and I am privileged to be a part of it.
