About

Sometimes it's really hard to be a person. Whether you've gone through a traumatic experience, feel sad and don't know why, struggle to calm anxious thinking, or find yourself at a turning point and are unsure of where to go, having someone supportive, empathetic, and caring by your side can help. I work to with clients to identify what's going on that is making life difficult, process their feelings about it, and take steps toward feeling more peaceful. We move at your pace toward the goals you outline.

I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Internal Family Systems, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I can help you learn skills to reduce problem behaviors, heal trauma, reduce anxiety and depression, and take steps toward contentment.

If you feel off-balance and would like assistance in stabilizing the ground beneath your feet, please reach out. Therapy works when the client and clinician build a strong connection, so I welcome an opportunity to speak with you and see if we might be a good fit for what you'd like to find: balance, calm, hope, and resilience.
