I work with people who wish to improve their quality of life through self-understanding and self-compassion. I believe that our minds and bodies are doing the best they can to keep us safe and alive in the face of unmet needs and unjust social systems, and that each person embodies a deep wisdom informed by their unique life story. Sometimes, protective patterns that were once necessary during challenging or traumatic experiences no longer serve our wellbeing. Together, we can celebrate and strengthen what is working and bring gentle curiosity to what isn't. For those actively pursuing trauma recovery, EMDR is a staple of my work. For those who prefer talk therapy, I combine person-centered listening with psycho-education, self-exploration, and space for honoring and releasing emotion. This often includes support to grieve situations beyond individual control while cultivating room for hope within uncertainty. Because therapy is a vulnerable process, it's important that you work with a provider who feels like a good fit for you. If you're interested in connecting further, I invite you to reach out for a free consultation.
