Hello and welcome to therapy! Emotions such as anxiety, fear, sadness, and anger can keep us stuck in negative situations and from progressing in our career and relationships. The first step to change is awareness. Speaking with a compassionate and competent professional can help you unlock your potential toward a more genuine version of you. I work from a client-centered counseling perspective, meaning that I approach the therapeutic relationship warmly, genuinely, and without judgment. My approach is to team with you to identify goals and help you create meaningful techniques that will assist you in reaching your goals. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor intensively trained in DBT (Dialectical Behavior Therapy). Most of my experience since 2009 has been with groups, adults, and adolescents with self-harming behaviors, relationship issues, behavioral issues, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders. I believe people are not made to be alone; thus there are others who will walk with you on your journey to well being. I understand busy schedules and therefore am flexible by offering weekday evenings and weekend appointments. Please call/email with questions.
