About

Here’s my essential conviction: you are a survivor—and whatever kind of surviving your life has required of you has taught you not only vital tools of survival but also vital ideas about what is possible in yourself, in relationships, and in the world. I assume you are strong; I also assume that you neither always feel this way nor want to need to be. So I also imagine you may feel a bit weary. We’ll nurture you together. This may involve feeling disowned feelings, thinking novel thoughts, or connecting with your body in disowned or novel ways.

As we come to know each other, you’ll teach me all the things you’ve learned about surviving and we’ll notice together what you need in order to create connection you crave. Maybe this will be the beginning of years of work, maybe we’ll notice something in the first session that changes everything—most likely it will be somewhere in between.

Regardless of the shape of our work, I suspect you’ll find a few core things about me to be true: I believe there are as many ways to live a life as there are lives, love is the coolest force in the world, and while growth can bring tears so too can it invite laughs! Hundreds of possible things could happen next. We’ll figure them out together.
