I offer individual and family therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. I have specialities in working with individuals who have issues related to abuse and trauma as well as behavioral disorders. I utilize several different treatment modalities and strive to meet the needs of each individual client. My approach with client's is to create a non-judgmental space that makes my client's feel supported and respected. I've had my own private practice for 11 years and over 20 years of experience. I specialize in working with children and adolescents who present with panic and anxiety problems, anger issues, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, ADHD and ADD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and depression. In my work with children and families, I also provide parent training when appropriate to the issues the child presents with. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and belong to the National Association of Social Workers, the Association for Play Therapy, and the Illinois Society for Clinical Social Work. I offer afternoon, night, and weekend hours to best accommodate my clients. Psychiatric consultations and psychological referrals will also be provided as needed.
