About

I work with South Asian and African American women (ages 25-50) living in NC, WI, and MN who are ready to address and treat anxiety, depression, OCD, or trauma. My main areas of interest are the effects of the immigrant experience and biculturalism on mental health and wellness. I also am well versed in queer, transgender, and non-binary needs in treatment. Therapy with me provides clients with a culturally sensitive experience, as I work with clients closely to create a practice that incorporates evidence based practices in a non-oppressive environment.

As a woman of color, I provide a unique cultural lens through which I provide therapy. I utilize EMDR therapy and other evidenced based trauma treatments to create a treatment plan tailored to your needs. I also am a yoga teacher and implement movement and mindfulness into sessions if needed.

My goal is to break barriers in mental health treatment and improve outcomes for people who have experienced racial trauma, intergenerational trauma, and discrimination based on sexuality, gender, or disability status.
