About

Have life's challenges been overwhelming you? Making you question yourself, question if you are okay, question if you are enough? Taking this first step toward therapy can be difficult, and it is my goal to offer you a safe place to help you explore and be your authentic self. You are not alone. Things can get better. My counseling practice can provide skills and insight to help you through these challenging times. I work with teens and adults working through trauma, anxiety and depression, mood disorders, grief, and life changes.

I’m experienced with Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and was trained in psychodynamic and somatic models. My approach is based on building a connection where I remain in tune with and paying attention to personal themes, accessing core feelings, building tolerance for these feelings, and focusing on what is effective in your life.

I am nonjudgmental, strength-based, and have a laid back approach that is honest, kind, and direct. Sessions are collaborative and I have learned that the most valuable thing I can do is to help my clients to accept themselves for whatever feelings and thoughts they have; to embrace their true self.
