I am committed to creating a warm, honest, and empathic space where clients can work collaboratively to gain deeper insight into themselves and cultivate more flexible ways of being in the world. I see therapy with individuals and couples as not only a path to individual growth and healing but also as a means to empower individuals to connect meaningfully with others, take action in their lives, and make a positive impact on the world. Rooted in psychoanalytic principles, my approach draws on relational, attachment, and trauma-informed theories, and is enriched by a deep interest in somatics, affective neuroscience, and mindfulness. I am attuned to the ways early relationships, environments, and social structures inform our experiences, as well as how they reverberate in the here-and-now. I use a liberation health framework to help clients navigate and transform these influences. I believe that true healing and becoming emerges from establishing a safe, reliable, and accepting therapeutic relationship. Through this work, clients can discover greater freedom, deepening their capacity for self-determination and enhancing their ability to engage with the world with clarity, complexity, and purposeful action.
