About

I have worked in the substance abuse treatment community, both as a primary therapist and in clinical management. I have extensive experience in counseling medical and legal professionals with addictions issues, as well as people from a variety of backgrounds. I am also familiar with the unique situations faced by those associated with the military, having raised a family as a military dependent spouse. As a Certified Sexual Addiction Therapist and a Certified Partner Trauma Therapist. I provide individual sessions to address sexual addiction, betrayal trauma and offer sexual recovery groups for both the addict and their partner.

I use individual, couples, and family counseling, along with eye-movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) and psychodrama, to help unlock and address some of the barriers faced by clients. These methods are effective no matter if the client self identifies as straight, gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or questioning. I am Gottmand and EFT trained

Early in my studies, I learned of relationships where a married person, who self-identified as gay, lesbian, or bisexual, and their spouse chose to make their mixed-orientation marriage work. I understand the dynamics involved in these relationships and have been actively involved in support groups for such couples.
