About

Throughout life, we all face many challenges...Maybe it's a painful break-up, being passed over for a promotion, a recent health event, or a traumatic experience from the past that you can't let go. As a clinical psychologist for over 30 years, I have successfully helped my clients gain insight into themselves so that they can change behavior, reconnect to their resilience and make significant improvements in their lives and relationships.I work with individuals, couples and families. I tailor treatment to the client because everyone has their own life circumstances, set of strengths and weakness, and agenda for therapy.

I have worked with thousands of men and women in the arts, education, finance and entrepreneurship. I also treat tweens, adolescents and young adults as they navigate friendships, school, family and try to figure out who they are. My style is warm and compassionate, and I use humor, active listening ,a direct common sense approach to real life problems.

I have extensive experience in relationship dynamics and couples counseling, career and executive coaching, ADHD, parenting, family therapy, and women's issues (including sexual reproductive health and cancer). I also work with mood/anxiety disorders, grief and loss, poor self-esteem and identity issues, trauma, and family of origin conflicts. Contact me !
