I have been in private practice for over 15 years and have worked in the human services field for 30+ years. My style of practice is relaxed, welcoming , and patient, and I am always conscious of the effort and energy it can take to reach out for help! Grief and loss, relationship issues, trauma, addiction (substance abuse, pornography, gambling) work stress, anxiety, depression, acoa, life passages are some of the issues I have treated throughout the years. I believe that people are resilient. I am committed to partnering with my clients to find the best approach for a positive outcome. I have worked in addiction programs throughout my professional career and have always been struck by how programs fall short in helping families through the struggle of loving someone who is addicted. Whether you are an acoa, have some codependency issues and or need support and education regarding the disease of addiction, I can help. Because the recent health crisis has resulted in the necessity of telehealth, I have grown accustomed to and skilled at engaging my clients through this venue. If a prospective client is reluctant to try this venue, I would be willing to connect briefly via this method ,( no cost) to assist in making a decision. Just indicate this in initial contact.
