I believe that to truly help the individual in therapy one must consider the entire individual including mind, body and soul. I enjoy working with all age groups. I have worked in a wide variety of settings: women's residence, outdoor therapeutic program, group home, partial hospitalization program. I have been working in the field of counseling since 1995. I have been in private practice since 2003 and opened my own practice in July of 2011. I practice as an individual, marital, and family therapist. I work with a significant number of mood disorders: depression, bipolar, and anxiety. I utilize play therapy when working with younger clients, who express their thoughts, feelings, and needs through play. I work with children as young as 3 years of age up to those in their senior years. I became a licensed professional counselor in 2000. I received my second master's degree in Christian Psychological Studies from Psychological Studies Institute currently Richmont Graduate University.
