About

After transitioning to private practice from intensive in-home therapy, my passion has become working with children and adolescents up through young adulthood (ages 5-22) on a wide variety of developmental, mental health, and life transition challenges. When youth and young adults come to me for support, I work with them to build resiliency, develop identity, increase self-esteem, and amplify their voices.

My approach to therapy flexes to meet everyone where they are week-to-week, but I incorporate evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and Motivational Interviewing into both talk and play therapy. I also believe that therapy isn't possible without getting to know someone beyond "the problem", so I leave room for plenty of humor and pop culture.

The idea of coming to therapy can be relieving, but it can also be uncomfortable and scary. I respect that it's your story and your life, so we will work on your goals at a pace that is most effective for you. I welcome feedback on what is and isn't working and will collaborate with you to adjust. It's your space; I'm just here to guide you through it.
