Update - as of 7/30/24 I'm offering EMDR for short-term work with new clients! I can support you with approaching and coping with intense or overwhelming feelings; finding balance meeting your needs & your obligations; building a compassionate relationship with yourself, and improving your relationships with others. I'm open to discussing whether I'd be the right fit for anything you may bring. My primary approaches are Internal Family Systems & Gestalt Therapy. We can discuss what approach will work best for you. I also offer clinical supervision. My orientation to approaching suffering, healing, and growth is rooted in a belief that the body's response to trauma or pain can take many different forms. Even "harmful" thoughts, feelings, or behaviors have come to serve a purpose. With support we can grow in new ways. Healing/growth are not just individual, but community and relational processes. My style can be curious, gentle, direct, flexible; very open or more structured if you prefer. I am excited to support you in your journey of healing and compassion towards yourself.
