About

I am Marsha Edwards, a Licensed Professional Counselor–Supervisor, Life Coach, former Middle & High School Counselor, former Elementary Teacher, and Paraprofessional Educational Aide I with coursework in Marriage and Family Counseling from Dallas Baptist University, a Master of Education in School Counseling from Dallas Baptist University and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management, with a Minor in International Business from Northwood University. My approach to therapy is person-centered. It is about helping "people" experience their living in ways they find enjoyable and meaningful.

After years of practicing, my approach is trauma-informed client-centered, utilizing a variety of modalities, including cognitive behavioral strategies and positive psychology. This approach empowers clients to mindfully navigate effective coping skills, thereby increasing the likelihood of a holistic healing process.

I believe the capacity to set goals in one's own living is a powerful tool. I work with clients to understand and increase their own views, stigmas, and hindrances about the usefulness of setting and realizing personal and professional goals for their overall well-being.
