About

I hold space for adults who are healing from childhood trauma, racial trauma, and gendered trauma. Trauma means that you've faced deeply stressful events that have left significant physical, emotional, or spiritual scars. Each person's encounter with trauma is unique, but universally, the body becomes an alarm system, indicating when a traumatic event has occurred. Trauma can disrupt your sleep and hijack your thought processes, often anchoring you in a state of constant fear or anger. Together, we'll embark on a journey to discover strategies that ground your body and help you regain a a sense of safety. View 3 Photos

I provide EMDR), a specialized approach centered around managing trauma and related distressing memories. My practice incorporates a feminist perspective, acknowledging the traumatic influence of systemic and personal experiences of racism, sexism, heterosexism, and cissexism. My therapeutic approach is relational, emphasizing the importance our bond.

As a therapist guided by feminist principles, I deeply value the connection we establish during therapy as the most crucial aspect of our shared journey. My aspiration is to forge a bond of trust with you, creating an environment where you feel safe and genuinely respected.
