About

My practice is focused on supporting you in helping yourself. As a psychodynamic therapist, I concentrate on understanding the deep-seated patterns and unconscious processes that influence current behavior and emotions. Although we explore past experiences, our work primarily centers on the 'here and now.' The therapy room becomes a laboratory where we can examine and understand these patterns as they unfold in real-time, gaining insights into how your past influences your present and helping you make meaningful changes in your life.

If you think you may have a problem with drugs, alcohol, sex, gambling, debting or gaming, I am an experienced addictions specialist and will support you in harm reduction, or abstinence - whatever you decide is right for you. If you love someone or have a family member that is struggling with any addiction, I will guide you through your own healing.

If you are not feeling well, I encourage you to reach out. Together, we will make sense of what is happening in the present by processing past experiences, helping you to determine 'what now?' Supportive counseling sessions can be one time, as needed, or ongoing. You decide.
