All of us are acquainted with difficulties and hardships in life: pain and conflict within ourselves, difficulties in relationships, or stressors that were put on us from circumstances we didn’t choose or have control of. Whatever these difficulties or hardships look like in your life, big or small, you were not meant to walk through them alone. I would be honored to walk alongside you and provide a safe space for you to share your story. A collaborative therapeutic relationship is at the heart of the counseling process, where we will establish treatment goals together that are based on your present needs. It is often in this collaborative context where healing, restoration and growth take place. Coming from a community mental health background I have worked in various roles, providing crisis stabilization and treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, bi-polar, adjustment disorders, as well as offering grief counseling. I am primarily operating from an Integrative counseling approach with a foundation in Person-Centered Therapy.
