Life is hard at times; we all need someone to talk with. You're not alone and you deserve to live a full life of happiness and success. The first step is reaching out. I, Sue Fryant, am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Virginia and North Carolina. With over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in the following settings: out-patient, in-home, schools, hospital, and hospice. My interests and experience are working with individuals who suffer from depression, anxiety, ADHD, poor impulse control, end of life issues/concerns, grief, and loss. As a clinician, I utilize different theories to understand and meet the individual needs of each person and of each family. These theories include Cognitive Behavioral, Person Centered, Solution Focused, and Grief theories. Techniques that I utilize may include psychoeducation, relaxation, reframing of negative thoughts, positive imagery, role-play, mindfulness, writing and/or art exercises. The therapeutic process is individualized to meet your needs. We will work together to establish realistic and attainable goals for you to achieve.
