About

I began my education with a strong passion for helping others and later determined that being a counselor was the path for me. My role as a counselor is to create a safe space as we work together to navigate through challenges. In sessions, my goal as the counselor is to provide authenticity, support, acceptance, and empathy. I utilize solution-focused and person-centered as my therapeutic approach. As a counselor, I believe everyone is capable of being resilient and I will be here to support you through your journey.

I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults facing various challenges. I have experience working with a variety of issues such as stressful life events, anxiety, depression, grief, and loss, and negative coping strategies. I utilize play therapy techniques with younger children.

I am accepting new clients for individual sessions, and children for play sessions. I lead a teen girls high school group and we are accepting new members to join our evening group at the Counseling Center of North Texas.
