Marisa MHC-LP - I'm the co-founder of Davine Counseling. I'm a Mental Health Counselor who specializes in direct services and interventions focused on helping clients of all ages with a variety of different goals and approaches for therapy. A session with me will start with a consultation and an initial assessment. Here you will expect me to ask you questions about yourself to give me a better understanding of you! Here we will also start to discuss therapy goals and expectations as well as a plan for what our session schedule will look like. These sessions are unique to you and I want you to feel comfortable and safe at all times! My focus is to help individuals heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. We achieve this by providing a neutral safe space, listening to your concerns, and customizing a treatment plan. Your goals will be implemented into every session. I will have prepared exercises, coping mechanisms, and targets for each of our sessions. This Private Practice offers direct services, including interventions focused on interpersonal interactions and life management. Care is based on biopsychosocial perspectives that consists of assessment, diagnosis, treatment (psychotherapy), client-centered advocacy, consultation, evaluation, and prevention of mental/emotional/behavioral disturbances.
