I have been a therapist for over 30 years. I work with people of all ages (except children under 18), dealing with depression, anxiety, and most other mental and/or emotional issues. My orientation is eclectic. I have been trained in psychodynamic psychotherapy, graduating from an analytic institute (American Institute for Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis-AIPP), but I believe that each client is a unique individual needing an empathic personal approach. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is very helpful for some clients, but not for all. My goal is to help clients to feel mentally stronger, with a better sense of self and improved self esteem. They are then more able to deal with their primary relationship, families, careers, etc, with self-assurance and self-acceptance.
