Welcome to KIDS & Families First Counseling, LLC. I have been a school psychologist for over twenty -five years, and a licensed professional counselor. My private practice focuses on children, adolescents, and their families who need support with behavioral and/or academic issues. I have worked extensively with children and adolescents who are dealing with depression, anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and learning disabilities. I enjoy helping children/ adolescents learn ways to tolerating uncomfortable feelings, express empathy through social thinking, and improve communication of needs with their family. I believe that you will find a caring and supportive environment with a focus on solutions instead of blame. My office "the purple room" is a special place where it is safe to speak openly and honestly without judgement.
