I am passionate about working with individuals who are interested in seeking self-improvement and personal empowerment. With the client's active participation, my role is to provide guidance and support as they address issues or obstacles keeping them from achieving their goals. When working with minors, I am an advocate for the child as they work through their struggles that prevent them from developing their fullest potential. I also provide support to the parent(s) as they learn new ways to parent their child during a challenging time. I have been in the counseling profession for 18 years, and I have been in private practice for over 10 years. Throughout these years I have gained extensive knowledge in working with tweens, adolescents and adults. I provide a solution-focused and cognitive behavioral approach, which instills a strong sense of independence and self-fulfillment. I truly believe that I was born to do what I do. I knew that counseling was meant for me since I was in high school. Knowing this resulted in my desire to learn as much as I could about this profession and upholding all ethical standards. Being a part of someone's intimate life is something that I consider to be a privilege.
