My goal as a therapist is to be intentional about creating a space that feels safe for clients and to explore the areas that are most meaningful to them. Each individual has a unique perspective and I would like to honor and respect the client's outlook as well as cultural strengths and would like to offer help in a respectful and nurturing way. Often times, we create barriers and are hesitant to trust others. My goal as a therapist would be to invite the client to be curious and open minded and to overcome the barriers and to walk with them on their journey. I like meeting clients where they are at, with their struggles, challenges and issues they are grappling with. I work with children, adolescents and adults, helping them build healthy coping mechanisms, as they deal with life and its challenges. The most valuable thing as a therapist is making sure the client feels safe and heard. My hope is for my clients to build on their own unique strengths in order to gain confidence to continue the journey, while feeling safe, in a nurturing and non-judgmental environment.
