Therapists » Clinical Social Work/Therapist
The foundation of my therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy but I also incorporate other methodologies to meet the needs of each unique individual. My approach as a therapist is flexible because I understand the importance of your individuality. My goal is for my clients to feel safe and comfortable when they start therapy whether it be their first time or they have had past experiences. My style is to be interactive and engage with my clients while providing an environment that is safe, non-judgmental and supportive. I sometimes use worksheets, recommend books and phone apps to support the work we do together.
Starting therapy is an intimidating process. Once we connect, usually over the phone, I will walk you through the process to go over the challenges and issues you want to explore and I will describe the framework around my practice. Together we will build a plan that is tailored to you and feels comfortable.
I welcome you to ask me questions and talk through any hesitations you might have. We can go over frequency of sessions and any questions you might have about insurance reimbursement.
