Welcome to my page! Hi, my name is Maria Del Rio Alvarez and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist and an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. I am a first generation Mexican-American bilingual clinician with a love for culture and food. I enjoy working with families, youth and adults navigating through life challenges that include grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, generational relational trauma and life stress. I am committed to supporting you in a compassionate and nonjudgmental environment. I provide confidential telehealth services for my clients all across California. In my private practice, I am committed to a comprehensive and compassionate approach to mental health services, guided by principles that prioritize the well-being and empowerment of my clients. My practice is trauma-informed, recognizing the profound impact of past experiences on present-day challenges. I am dedicated to helping clients navigate through life's challenges, including grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, generational relational issues, and everyday stressors.
