About

I work with all ages, but specialize in children, adolescents and young adults. My approach is eclectic, grounded in a psychodynamic orientation that utilizes a variety of tools, tailored to individual needs. My clients and I work toward goals in a non-judgmental atmosphere of empathy and understanding. Some issues I have been able to help people with are: relationship problems, depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, life transitions, self esteem, parenting, childhood issues such as separation anxiety, behavior and school problems, ADD, adoption, and divorce. I also have experience with artists and the issues they face. Therapy makes positive change!

Children have troubles and worries too! And they have a special way of expressing their feelings and concerns through the language of play and art. Parents and caregivers are the most important people in the lives of children and we work together for the well being of child and family.

Adolescents are traversing an exciting, yet vulnerable time in their lives. Managing greater independence, physical, emotional and social changes, developing judgment and identity, and more; while meeting demands of home and school and preparing for college or the work force. I listen with respect and empathy. Offer guidance and support.
