I focus on working primarily with couples and individual adults who are dealing with trauma histories, identity/cultural issues, depression and/or anxiety. I can help you excavate your past trauma, your attachment and communication styles in a way that helps you understand them, and how these may be impacting what is going on with you in the present moment, so you can feel more in control of your body, your emotions, your thoughts, and your relationships. I have very limited space for teens also dealing with trauma, anxiety and depression, who can come for in-person services, at my Portsmouth, NH location. I integrate different treatment methods with Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, which helps clients also use their bodies as a healing tool. If you want to transform physical, emotional, and cognitive difficulties, focusing on your body can get you there. I look forward to hearing from you, and getting to work with you. Please know that my specialty is trauma and systems work (which means couples and families), and I do not accept insurance for couples and family therapy, as insurance companies either don't cover these services or their reimbursement rates are less than for individual treatment. I can work with you, via videoconferencing, if you live in ME, NH, AZ or CA.
