About

I work with women and children because I am fiercely protective of these populations in my own life. There is a term in the therapy world called “wounded healer.” This term is from Carl Jung and research suggests that upwards of 70% of counselors and psychologist have had their own “wounding” experiences which led them to their career path. I work with these populations because my counselors and psychologists growing up helped me see through the fog of abusive parenting and romantic relationships. They helped me grow and heal, doing the only thing that they could- providing a safe space for me to cry, vent, be sorrowful, and share.

I am a passionate, easy going therapist who values connection and sincerity. My approach is warm, yet challenging. The cold and stuffy kind of therapy is definitely not my jam. I like a warm, compassionate, and authentic style to therapy instead. I have specialties in complex trauma, ADHD, and ASD. I work primarily with later in life diagnosed women.

I understand, truly, how difficult it can be to reach out for help or support. But if you are reading my profile and others like me, you are so brave and I just want you to know that I see you and when you are ready to take the next step, I am here. I would love to see if we are a fit so please feel free to reach out and schedule a free consultation.
