About

Are you feeling stuck, caught in a difficulty in which you can't seem to resolve? Does the same situation repeat over and over in different forms? Life is hard and sometimes we need to help of another person, a nonjudgmental listener, to move forward. Whatever problems you face, relationship difficulties, struggles to balance career and personal life, anxiety, grief or health issues, a therapist can serve as your guide. Through the therapeutic process you may also explore your personal history as it relates to current difficulties and, in the process, discover new ways of coping. View 5 Photos

Talking through issues can help develop insights, making a positive difference in your life. I am a person trained to listen and to offer support and guidance to help individuals and couples deal with current struggles and develop new strategies for coping. I've worked with heterosexual, same sex, long-distance, parent-adult child and sibling couples!

As a writer, I am especially interested in working with writers and creative artists - painters, musicians, film-makers, actors - to develop creativity and achieve success. In addition, I write articles, train and supervise therapists and have taught at the New School ("Exploring the Mind/Body Connection") and Learning Annex ("Stop Being Nice").
