About

My therapeutic style is affirming, curious, collaborative and inclusive. I believe in the value of a genuine and candid relationship with my clients. My objective is to help my clients understand, experience and respond to life's challenges and opportunities in new ways. I'm informed by an attachment perspective, which focuses on the emotions and needs underlying behavior - in service of strengthening connection.

I work primarily with couples and individual adults, addressing relationship security and emotional connection, anxiety, life and family transitions, parenting and trauma-related symptoms. I have extensive experience working with families and children, which informs my practice with couples and parents/caregivers.

My work with couples and individuals is guided by a strengths-based and relational perspective. I bring thirty-plus years of training, experience and commitment to thoughtful work with clients having different racial, cultural, gender, sexual and social backgrounds than my own.
