There are times in life when there doesn't seem like a way out of emotional pain. Our life histories, traumas, losses, and disappointments can run so deep that you think the only solution is to give up and stay where you are because change seems frightening. I'm confident I’m able to help you have a more joyful life, better relationships, and to create a more optimistic and exciting vision for your future. You can learn the most effective tools and recognize your strengths focusing on yourself in the now. I can teach you how to treat yourself with patience and compassion, while making a real decision to change. This requires learning how to replace negative patterns with positive ones and knowing that change happens one day at a time with small steps. In my studies I have focused on depression, borderline personality disorder, ADHD, self-harm, attachment disorder, substance abuse, anger management, behavioral issues, and self-esteem. My ideal patient is focused on personal growth and healing. I believe one of the bravest things you can do is begin to understand your own history. Even if we cannot change our environment significantly, we can learn to alter the way in which we perceive it. This can make a profound difference, and will help you to live a more fulfilling life.
