I am a licensed clinical psychologist with 20+ years of experience helping adults and teens make meaningful change in their lives. For some, this means overcoming anxiety, depression, life transitions or relationship problems. Others may feel empty, unfulfilled, or stuck. My goal is to help you navigate challenges, reduce suffering and increase connection with yourself and others. Like every individual, each therapeutic relationship is unique. I work with people that have discrete, short-term goals as well as those that want to deeply understand their patterns and behaviors. I provide licensure supervision for Ph.D, Psy.D. and LPC. I am honored and humbled to be invited into a person’s life during a time when they are struggling. My overarching goal in therapy is to develop a safe, trusting relationship where we partner on identifying your needs and goals. I integrate evidence-based practices, such as Psychodyamic, Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Therapies. My experience is extensive. I have worked with clients in Spanish and English in settings including hospitals, community clinics and schools. Aside from my practice, I was an executive at a large healthcare organization. I teach Ph.D. graduate students at DU, and I have made local, national and international media appearances as a behavioral health expert.
