Have you noticed that things have just not been the same for the past few months or weeks and can't really seem to figure out why? Your daily routine has been thrown off, your relationships are changing and maybe even your school/work performance is also getting impacted. You tried everything that others have suggested but it still doesn't seem to work. Maybe therapy was not the first idea but you feel like you would be considered a burden to others when talking about these things so you made a difficult to decision to give it a try. I work with adults and couples who want to understand reasons for why they are experiencing their struggles and learn coping skills around them. My focus is not to get rid of those symptoms but to learn how to manage them better should they continue. I also work with people wanting to repair their relationships or learn how to navigate them differently. It can be a difficult decision to want to try therapy especially if this is your first time or did not have a good experience in the past. I am mindful of that and can make sure you feel comfortable enough with me first before exploring these struggles. If I'm not a good fit, I can try my best to connect you to someone who might be.
