As a somatic, mindfulness, and nature-based mental health counselor, I work with individual adults in identifying and affirming gifts and strengths; finding and maintaining calm, connection, and contentment; and creating new patterns that encourage health, growth, and resilience through life’s changes. A session with me might include movement exploration (informed by dance/movement therapy and yoga), awareness-building exercises (mindfulness and meditation), and therapeutic conversation. Sessions can be in my sunny office, online, or outdoors among the trees - an opportunity to gain insight and inspiration from the natural world. I bring to this work a calm, non-judgmental, and compassionate presence; a practical and down-to-earth approach; and a strong commitment to social justice and ecological values. I am a mom, yoga teacher, Authentic Movement practitioner, certified holistic health and nutrition coach, herbalist, and former early childhood teacher and environmental educator. I have a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Goddard College and am currently working towards licensure. I practice under the supervision of Tracy Loysen, PhD, a clinical psychologist. My available hours are mostly during the school day. I am not available for sessions in the evening or on weekends. Email is the best way to contact me.
