Hi! My name is Lydia Jordan, LMFT & Diplomate, A-CBT. I work with individuals hoping to improve how they feel, think, and act using compassion-focused and trauma-informed CBT, with a particular emphasis on Eating, Mood, and Anxiety disorder diagnoses. I am also sensitive to Women's Life-Span concerns (including pregnancy & per-menopause) and recovery from Religious Trauma. My practice focuses on recovery from eating disorder, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders with an emphasis on providing for those who feel unheard or unmet in other spaces. I work to provide safety, accurate empathy, and unconditional positive regard so that my clients can progress towards their goals with confidence. My clients should expect a warm welcome and an orientation to therapy, followed by thorough assessment of their therapeutic needs and the beginnings of goal setting and treatment planning, as well as specific interventions ("coping skills") to use immediately and throughout the week to begin to shift their thinking, feelings, and behavior.
