Baltimore Pediatric Psychology is the private practice of Dr. Lucy Leibowitz. I am a licensed psychologist in Maryland with availability for therapy and psycho-educational evaluations. My specialty is in helping parents and children manage emotional and behavioral concerns, including anxiety and depression, tantrums, ADHD, and sleep problems across ages. I use cognitive-behavioral strategies and collaborate with families to develop effective and individualized treatment plans. I believe in sharing research and best practice with families and working together to implement these approaches for each unique family. As a pediatric psychologist, my role is to help parents navigate the wide range of daily stressors and develop tools to better support your children. I specialize in treating anxiety (including separation anxiety, social phobia, nighttime fears, COVID-related anxiety), depression, ADHD, and sleep disturbance (from infancy through the teenage years). I received my BA in psychology from Tufts University and my PhD in Clinical Psychology from George Mason University. I completed an APA accredited Internship and two years of Fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute/Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
